The Dad Reset Method
Helping working dads become better husbands, fathers and men—
without giving up the success they've worked hard to build.
You work hard. You have responsibilities.
People count on you.
But sometimes work follows you home, your patience runs thin, and the people who matter most get whatever energy and attention you have left.
The Dad Reset Method is six months of personal coaching built around Self-Awareness, Gratitude, Patience, Accountability and Presence.
We work on recognizing what's getting in your way, changing how you respond, and becoming more intentional at work and at home.
Because being successful at work shouldn't mean struggling at home.
Meet Chris Anderson and discover how The Dad Reset Method helps working dads become more present, patient and accountable at home without giving up their professional ambition.

You walk through the door after a long day at work.
You're tired. You've got things on your mind. Maybe something happened at work that you're still trying to figure out.
Your kids want your attention. Your wife wants to talk.
But you just want a few minutes to yourself.
So you grab your phone. Turn on the TV. Check one more email.
And before you know it, the evening's gone.
You were home the whole time.
But how much of it were you actually present for?
Maybe you've noticed some of these things:
You're working hard to build a good life for your family. But are they getting the best of you—or what's left?
You've probably tried to get more organized.
Maybe you've read the books, listened to the podcasts, made the schedules or promised yourself you'd put the phone away.
You know you need to be more patient. More present. More intentional.
But knowing what to do and actually doing it are two different things.
And maybe the problem isn't that you're not working hard enough.
Maybe it's that work and home have started bleeding into each other.
You're at work thinking about home.
You're at home thinking about work.
You're never completely off, and you're rarely completely present.
So you keep pushing harder, hoping the next promotion, paycheck or finished project will finally give you some breathing room.
But without changing how you operate, that breathing room may never come.
You don't necessarily need to work harder. You need to learn how to be where you are.
The Dad Reset Method is built around five things that I've spent years working on in my own life.
They're not five separate problems to fix.
They build on each other.
SELF-AWARENESS
You can't change what you don't recognize.
We start by understanding your habits, triggers, reactions and the patterns that keep showing up at work and at home.
GRATITUDE
Change what your mind learns to notice.
We build a simple daily practice of recognizing the good things that get overlooked when life feels like one frustration after another.
PATIENCE
Create space between what happens and what you do next.
Learn to respond more deliberately instead of automatically reacting—and to keep working toward important goals without expecting overnight results.
ACCOUNTABILITY
Thumbs at yourself before fingers at everybody else.
Learn to take responsibility for your choices, communication, habits and follow-through without blaming everything around you.
PRESENCE
Be where you are.
Learn to give your attention to the people and responsibilities in front of you—at work and at home.
The goal isn't perfection. It's recognizing when you're getting off track, taking responsibility and knowing how to reset.
The Dad Reset Method is six months of personal, one-on-one coaching.
This isn't me giving you a bunch of advice and sending you off to figure everything out on your own.
We meet every week and work through what's actually happening in your life.
Maybe you had an argument with your wife.
Maybe you lost your patience with your kids.
Maybe you're frustrated at work or struggling to leave it behind when you get home.
We talk through those situations.
What happened? What were you feeling? What triggered you? What's your part? What could you do differently?
Then we build a practical plan, and you go put it to work.
The following week, we look at what happened.
Here's what working together includes:
The Method provides the structure. Your life determines what we work on.
And when you have a bad week?
We don't start over. We figure out what happened, make an adjustment and reset.
I'm not going to promise you a perfect marriage, a promotion or that you'll never lose your patience again.
I'm still working on some of these things myself.
But imagine recognizing your frustration before you take it out on your family.
Imagine being able to put your phone away and give your kids twenty minutes of your actual attention.
Imagine having a conversation with your wife where you listen instead of immediately trying to fix everything.
Imagine finishing your workday and being able to mentally leave work behind more often.
Imagine knowing what to do when you screw up instead of repeating the same patterns for another six months.
That's the kind of change we're working toward.
The Dad Reset Method may be a good fit if:
It probably isn't the right fit if you're looking for someone to fix your wife, kids, boss or coworkers.
You don't have to have everything figured out. But you do have to be willing to work on your part.
You don't need another six months of telling yourself you'll do better when things settle down.
If you've recognized yourself somewhere on this page, maybe it's time to do something different.

You shouldn't have to lose at home to win at work.
Please reach us at chris@chrisanderson.life if you cannot find an answer to your question.
No. The Dad Reset Method is personal coaching focused on habits, awareness, behavior, accountability and practical change. It isn't a substitute for mental-health treatment or couples therapy.
Expect short, regular reflection and journaling practices along with specific actions in your daily life. We'll keep the work realistic for a busy working dad, but consistent participation matters.
We talk about it. Sometimes understanding why you didn't follow through is part of the work. Accountability means getting honest about what happened and deciding what needs to change—not pretending every week will be perfect.
We establish where things stand at work, at home and personally. We discuss what you want to change, identify initial priorities and begin building your foundation for self-awareness and reflection.
